history
I started to experience the world of website as a kid. When I was very young I remember myself sitting and playing in some program called Homepage. It was very basic and those sites was never even released on the net. Then, when I was about eight years old, my old friend Ida decided to teach me the basics of html. She had just started to work with html herself and we both worked in iframes and with a very basic structure and content. I remember my first layout being baby purple and having a very small square as the “home” of the index with a picture of a drawn angel as the background. I bet you couldn’t read shit on that site. I found myself getting very interested in buiding with codes and using my creation for something different. With jealous eyes I watched all the pretty advanced websites and decided that I one day would be able to craft something equal myself. I have learned alot through my years and today I’m very confident with my knowledge of html (frames and i-frames), and over the last few years starting to become more and more secure with css, php and some js.
The domain Damina.net was first bought in January 2003. Ever since then I’ve been very
on and off with the activity specially in the last couple of years. I've always wanted
to have a fanlisting collective, and now that I've finally succeeded in making it work
I decided to make my beloved website into a collective.

version #1 - SCARES GIVES POWER
The original theme was designed by "Pink & Yellow Media". I kept the formal structure
and design of the entries, while the rest of the layout, like the header and navigation
functions, was totally edited. I did a clipboard of the two main characters of the movie
Fight Club. The brushes I used is default brushes that comes along the Photoshop program.
I decided to name the layout "Scars Gives Power" as a referance to the movie itself but
also as a pun to one of Marilyn Manson's songs called "The Reflecting God".
Used: Paint, Photoshop 7.0, Notepad, CoreFTP

version #2 - BUTTERFLIES ARE WAITING
I did a remake of an old layout I had from the previous damina.net. It's another pun from
one of Marilyn Manson's songs called "Valentine's Day". Basically added the "butter" to
the standard verse "flies are waiting". The picture, taken from an old Marilyn Manson community site.
Used: Paint, Photoshop 7.0, Notepad, CoreFTP

version #3 - PERSONAL JESUS
Another Marilyn Manson layout. Picture saved on my computer for a very long time.
Remade the picture simply with IrfanView & Photoshop CS4. The lyrics are from Marilyn
Manson's famous song "Man That Your Fear". Liked how it cooped with the picture.
I decided to name it "Personal Jesus".. Reason don't need to be mentioned I assume.
Used: Photoshop CS4, IrfanView, Notepad, CoreFTP
